Natural peanut butter is used for this recipe but it contains more oil and will change the consistency of the cookie compared to the traditional Peanut Butter Blossom recipe. Modify this recipe by incorporating different types of sugar or sugar substitutes. Regular sugar or Swerve granular sugar substitute can be used as well. This recipe makes approximately 12 cookies.

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mix peanut butter, sugar and egg in a bowl.
  3. Roll dough into 1 tablespoon sized balls and place them on the cookies on the baking sheet.
  4. Bake the cookies for 6-8 minutes until the color begins to turn slightly tan.
  5. Press a chocolate kiss on top of the cookies as soon as they are removed from the oven.
  6. Let the cookies cool for 5 minutes before moving them to a cooling rack.
