I use my ninja blender to combine all the ingredients but any food processor will do. This recipe is super simple and only requires measuring cups and spoons and a food processor or blender.
Ingredients
Chocolate Chip Cookie
- 1 can chickpeas/garbanzo beans drained & rinsed
- 1/2 cup cashew butter
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup (more or less depending on desired sweetness)
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1-2 tablespoons water
- Add chocolate chips as desired

Healthy Cookie Dough
Get creative by trying different nut butters for different flavors. Cashew butter has a creamy consistency that I find works best. However, a portion of almond butter and peanut butter also make for a delicious cookie dough base. Consider trying other toppings like white chocolate chips and macadamia nuts.
